Driving
Directions to Kachina Village Subdivision:
The
first goal is to arrive at the “Old Blinking Light”,
which is officially the intersection of New Mexico State Highways
64, 522, and 150. This intersection is located on the North end of
Taos, New Mexico and can be approached from any direction. From here
travel North and NE on Highway 150, also known as the “Ski
Valley Road”, for 15 miles. As you arrive at the top of the
beautiful canyon drive, the ski village will open up before you as
you drive through the large paved parking lot. This is the base area,
and you will continue up Twining Road past the end of the pavement.
Signs will assist you during the 2.2 mile drive to the Kachina Village
area, also known for the Williams Lake Trailhead and hiker parking
lot. As you pass the trailhead and parking lot, you are in the core
of the Kachina Subdivision, surrounded by development opportunities.
